Our goal at The Indian School of Acting (ISA), is to get you started as an actor. We do it on both fronts: as an artist and professional. We understand that it may get challenging for you to find the placement as a beginner.  

However, ISA's placement in acting support not only simplifies it but also brings in success. We accomplish this by providing you with the knowledge, expertise, and industry know-how you need to be successful.

ISA offers one of the strongest acting placement support in India. We assist you in creating a solid network that will position you for long-term success in the Indian film and television industries. We will send and prepare you for numerous TV, movie, and theatre auditions. Our ultimate goal is to actively foster your understanding of the sector and assist you in developing a robust network of connections.

Eligibility

At ISA, we strongly believe that acting is for everyone. Whether you are a beginner or a coveted actor, our acting classes welcome one and all. Your passion and unwavering devotion to acting are the only two eligibility for admissions. If you are a creative and committed individual with the determination to succeed in this most competitive industry, you are welcome at ISA.

We accept national and international admissions. We are not looking for any academic credentials or prior experience. There's no minimum age to apply. However, you must understand that admissions are taken solely based on applicants who are then interviewed.

How to Apply for Acting Classes

At ISA, we offer affordable acting classes for beginners. These courses allow students to hone their skills without worrying about carrying the weight of extensive costs. Our classes equip you with the skills and experience necessary to succeed in the industry.

As we have no set eligibility criteria in place, we start with applications for admittance. This is followed by the extensive screening of each application. First, get in touch with us to request an application. After submitting it, we will get in touch with you to arrange a time for a phone interview or audition. You must then pay registration costs to have your spot confirmed. You must be quick and considerate as these classes are only open to a certain number of students. You can pay the remaining payment at the time of admission.

Accommodation Facilities

Vaishali in Ghaziabad is the home of the Indian School of Acting. It is a part of the National Capital Region, Delhi - NCR. Vaishali has an elevated metro station on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro and is well-connected to the system. Vaishali metro station is located less than two kilometres from the Indian School of Acting.

Student Housing Options

There are students from all across the world who are joining ISA's acting classes for beginners. If you are coming from another city or country, you have options of staying at hotels, service apartments, paying guests, and rental properties. 

The cost of lodging in the NCR varies based on the location and type of housing chosen, although it generally starts at Rs 4,000 per month for dormitory and PG accommodations. Please be aware that The Indian School of Acting does not provide on-campus dorm rooms and is not associated with any lodging companies. By your obligations, you choose or rent them. Please confirm that the company, agent, or broker is legitimate before sending any money.

Terms, Conditions and Rules

✓ To apply for the classes, you don't need any acting experience at all. Both beginners and experienced are accepted.

✓ There is no age criteria ISA follows for the admission process. From kids to adults, all are eligible to apply for acting classes. However, candidates who are younger than 18 years old need to provide a parental authorisation document.

✓ We look for passion for acting as an eligibility requirement. Even if you are a new student, you can still apply for acting classes.

✓ Although there are only limited seats available for the classes, a batch must begin with at least 10 applicants. Should it not be present, the batch could be stopped abruptly. All course admissions are contingent upon available seats.

✓ We do not, under any circumstances, provide admission refunds, except for cancelled classes.

✓ Any applicant who disregards the norms and regulations established by the institute may face severe disciplinary action from ISA.

✓ The student's admission may be immediately cancelled without return in the event of any misconduct or violent act on or around the ISA property.

✓ Only students who have at least 75% attendance in the acting classes will be eligible to get a certificate or diploma.

✓ ISA disclaims all liability for any loss or theft of valuables occurring on or around the property. Nor are we obligated to pay for the same.

✓ All students are required to turn in their fitness certificates before they may start acting classes.

✓ Schedules, dates of classes, and policy modifications are subject to change at management's discretion and will be communicated as such.

✓ ISA retains the right to revoke an applicant's admission and demand full payment of fees if it turns out that the information provided by the student was false.
